[ [Rules] ] These are the rules governing Bethlehem Royal. Please do your best to follow them, so that everyone can have an enjoyable roleplaying experience. Anyone found breaking these rules will be given a warning; three warnings will result in a temporary or permanent ban. Some rule breaking risks immediate banning, without warning.
[ [General Rules] ] 1. Activity is the key to success! Please make an effort to stay active. The board is done in real time, so you may miss important events if you don't check in weekly.
2. If for any reason, you need to be inactive for a period of two weeks or longer please notify one of the staff in advance or leave a message in the Hello and Goodbye Board.
3. This is an M-Rated site. Violence, death and naughty language will pop once in a while. Please be aware of this.
4. Please be courteous and polite to the other members of the board. Joking around is fine; but down right threats, bullying and hostility isn't cool. Dislike a member? Keep it to yourself; we don't want to see any harassment.
5. Keep all advertisements to the appropriate advertising section. Do not advertise in the chatbox, signatures or through PMs unless requested. Profiles are just fine.
6. To be on terms with the proboards rules, please do not post any pornographic material on this site. If you wish to rp a sex scene, have the thread fade to black and continue on to a PM or messenger.
7. Please make sure your signature does not stretch the board. We ask that you keep them to 400x200.
[ [Characters and Roleplays] ]
1. All applications should be filled out with the given profile template. Members are allowed to edit fonts but please keep the application itself the same. We will deny any application that does not follow this.
2. As of now, there is a three character limit to the amount of characters a member may have when starting out. However, if you have enough will, you're allowed to buy another character.
3. Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus are not accepted here. If you're wondering, a Mary-Sue is an annoyingly perfect character that can do nothing wrong, everyone 'loves' them and they are a pretty and unique snowflake. There also variations such as the anti-sue, black-hole sue, Copy-Cat Sue, etc. Look them up if you ever have the chance. Perfect people don't exist; flawed ones do. And they're much more fun to be around and to roleplay with.
4. Please do not post in the roleplaying sections until your character is accepted. Also, do not nag the staff to accept your character. We'll get to them as soon as possible.
5. All character face-claims must come from an anime, comic, manga or videogame. No real life images of celebrities or 3D characters from videogames are allowed, unless you can find a 2D image of them.
6. No godmodding. It will not be tolerated at all; you do not get to decide what another person's actions may be. That right belongs to that character.
7. No L33t-speak/chat-speak please. Proper grammar and spelling is encouraged!
8. Use ((OOC: Out-Of-Character post sample)) when talking out of character in a post.
9. For the purpose of the will system, please make a separate account for each of your characters.
